Lined Basket Type Strainer
The UniPolymers Lined Basket Type Strainer is engineered to provide superior filtration for corrosive and high-purity process fluids. Designed with a robust metallic housing fully lined with PTFE, this strainer effectively removes debris and particulates while resisting chemical attack. It is ideal for protecting downstream equipment in aggressive chemical processing environments.
Design & Construction
- Housing: Carbon steel, stainless steel, or alloy steel with full PTFE lining (3 mm standard thickness; customizable on request)
- Strainer Basket: PTFE coated or fully PTFE basket with perforations or mesh as per process requirement
- End Connections: Flanged (ANSI / DIN / JIS) or as specified
- Drain Port: Provided for easy cleaning and maintenance
- Size Range: DN25 to DN300 (other sizes on request)
Performance Parameters
- Operating Pressure: Up to 10 bar standard (custom designs for higher pressure available)
- Operating Temperature: Up to 230°C (subject to lining material and gasket selection)
- Filtration Rating: Typically 0.5 mm to 5 mm standard; finer mesh available on request
