Lined Static Mixer
The UniPolymers PTFE Lined Static Mixer is designed for inline mixing of fluids where chemical resistance and process purity are critical. The mixer consists of a series of precision-engineered static mixing elements housed within a metal pipe and fully lined with PTFE. The PTFE lining provides an inert, corrosion-resistant barrier, enabling reliable mixing of aggressive or high-purity fluids without risk of contamination.
Design & Construction
- Housing: Carbon steel, stainless steel, or alloy steel with full PTFE lining (3 mm standard thickness; other thicknesses on request)
- Mixing Elements: PTFE-lined fixed baffles / helical elements for optimal mixing efficiency
- End Connections: Flanged (ANSI B16.5) Drilling Std. ASA 150 or as per customer specification
- Length: Designed as per mixing requirements and pressure drop limitations
- Diameter: Available from DN25 to DN600 (larger sizes on request)
Performance Parameters
- Operating Pressure: Up to 10 bar standard (higher pressure designs available)
- Operating Temperature: Up to 230°C (subject to process conditions and lining material)
- Viscosity Range: Suitable for low to high viscosity fluids
- Flow Conditions:Laminar, transitional, or turbulent flow regimes

- Mixing of acids, alkalis, and aggressive chemicals
- pH control and neutralization processes
- Blending of additives, dyes, and pigments
